The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the release of shortlisted candidates for the next phase of its recruitment exercise involving the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The development forms part of the ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment process for Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.

According to the latest information from the Board, candidates who took part in the recruitment process are expected to check their application status through the official recruitment platform within the specified period.

The exercise also covers recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

Applicants who successfully progressed through the earlier stages are required to follow the instructions provided on the CDCFIB portal regarding the next phase of the process.

The Board has repeatedly advised applicants to rely only on information published through its official recruitment channels and to be cautious of individuals or platforms requesting payment in exchange for recruitment assistance.

The recruitment exercise follows the Computer-Based Test and subsequent screening stages conducted for applicants seeking positions in the participating paramilitary services. Successful candidates will proceed to the relevant verification and interview stages as directed by the Board.

Applicants are therefore encouraged to regularly monitor the official CDCFIB recruitment portal and ensure that they comply with all instructions concerning dates, venues and required documentation.

The Board has also stressed that official updates concerning the recruitment process should be obtained from its authorised channels rather than relying on unverified messages circulating on social media.
