Former Big Brother Naija housemate Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz, has confirmed that his relationship with fellow reality TV star Bella Okagbue ended in January 2026.

Sheggz made the disclosure in a statement shared on social media on Wednesday, while also rejecting allegations that he cheated on or abused Bella during their relationship.

The reality TV personality explained that he had previously avoided discussing the relationship publicly because he wanted to protect his family and keep his personal affairs away from public attention.

However, he said he decided to address the matter after concerns that his reputation and character were being negatively affected by claims surrounding the breakup.

Sheggz maintained that he did not cheat on Bella and said he had been single since January 2026. He also denied allegations of abusive behaviour during their time together.

According to him, his decision to speak publicly was not intended to attack his former partner but to clarify his position and prevent what he described as an unfair portrayal of his character.

Sheggz and Bella’s relationship began after they met during the 2022 edition of Big Brother Naija. Their relationship attracted considerable attention from fans during and after the reality show.

The confirmation of their separation has since generated reactions among fans and followers of the former BBNaija couple, particularly given the public interest that surrounded their relationship.

Sheggz said he remains focused on protecting his reputation and moving forward after the end of the relationship.
