Super Falcons defender Glory Ogbonna has completed a return to Turkish women’s club Beşiktaş, where she will begin a second spell with the Istanbul-based side.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international previously represented Beşiktaş for two seasons before departing the club for Israeli outfit Kiryat Gat, where she featured during the 2025/26 campaign.

Ogbonna’s return was confirmed by Beşiktaş in an announcement on the club’s official website, marking her latest move in European women’s football.

The defender’s experience at both club and international level is expected to strengthen Beşiktaş’ defensive options as the Turkish side prepares for the new season.

Ogbonna has also remained an important figure in the Nigerian national team setup, having represented the Super Falcons in international competitions.

Her return to Beşiktaş gives the Nigerian defender another opportunity to continue her career in Turkey, where she previously spent two seasons with the club.

The permanent transfer also represents a reunion between Ogbonna and the Istanbul club after her brief spell away from Turkey.
