Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has completed a move to English Women’s Super League club Crystal Palace Women.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international joins the London-based side on a two-year contract after leaving Portsmouth as a free agent.

Erhabor’s arrival strengthens Crystal Palace’s goalkeeping options ahead of the new Women’s Super League campaign.

The goalkeeper expressed her excitement about the move, describing the transfer as an important step in her career as she aims to establish herself at the highest level of women’s football.

“It feels really good to be here. I’m very excited to get started,” Erhabor said following the completion of the transfer.

She added that joining Crystal Palace represents a significant opportunity for her development and ambitions in the game.

Erhabor’s Journey To Crystal Palace

Erhabor began her football development at the Brighton & Hove Albion academy before gaining senior experience through loan spells at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.

She later joined Portsmouth, where she made six appearances across all competitions during the previous season.

Her performances at club level also earned her recognition with the Super Falcons, Nigeria’s senior women’s national team.

The move to Crystal Palace represents another major stage in her growing career and gives her the opportunity to compete in one of Europe’s leading women’s football leagues.

Crystal Palace Begin New WSL Chapter

Crystal Palace Women are preparing for their campaign in the expanded Women’s Super League after earning promotion to the top flight.

The Eagles are set to begin their league campaign at home against Everton, with Erhabor now part of the squad preparing for the new season.

Her arrival also adds to the growing number of Nigerian players featuring in England’s top-level women’s football.

For Erhabor, the transfer provides an opportunity to gain more experience at the highest level while continuing her development with both Crystal Palace and the Super Falcons.
