The AMURUN Foundation on Tuesday, 7th July , 2026, paid a condolence visit to its founder, industrialist and philanthropist, Mr. Idama Amurun, at his residence in Warri, Delta State, following the passing of his sister.
The delegation led by the Foundation’s Director, Hon. Gibson Akporehe described Mr. Amurun as “a visionary leader and generous giver” whose service has created opportunities for thousands of Nigerians.
Delivering the condolence message, the Foundation’s Team Lead, Engr. Mayowa Olajumoke, commended Mr. Amurun for his positive impact on society and pledged the Foundation’s continued support for its programs
Responding, Mr. Amurun thanked the delegation for their solidarity. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to sustaining his legacy through youth empowerment and scholarship initiatives.
“I appreciate your love and solidarity at this time. Though we have lost my dear sister, we take comfort in God and in the work we do to serve humanity. The Foundation will continue to honour her memory through our youth empowerment and education programs.”
Mr. Amurun is the founder of the AMURUN Foundation and is widely known for his contributions to education and healthcare projects across the country.
