October 9, 2026 – Oghareki
Former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, has said the people of Oghara are grateful to the Delta State Government for the completion and commissioning of the Oghareki Model Technical College.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Friday, Ibori described the project as a welcome development and a clear sign that the government is responsive to the needs of the community.
According to him, residents of Oghara have followed the project with keen interest and are pleased to see it come to fruition.
He said the new institution will give young people in Oghara and its environs access to quality, skills-based education, opening up pathways to employment and self-reliance.
Technical and vocational education, he noted, remains critical to equipping youths with relevant trades and competencies needed across various sectors of the economy.
Beyond appreciation, Ibori said the community is praying for the governor’s good health and continued success in office to enable him to sustain his developmental strides across Delta State.
For many residents, the Oghareki Model Technical College is more than just an edifice; it is a symbol of government presence and a beacon of hope and opportunity for the future.
