No fewer than 170 women leaders from the Obidient Movement have declared support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.

The women were received in Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, by the Chairman of Uvwie Consultative Forum, Elder Efe Okoledo, and Dr. Patrick Ighomrore.

The meeting, which was held at the family compound of the convener, Hon. Gibson Akporehe in Ugborikoko, was convened in preparation for the proposed 10,000 women solidarity march in support of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.

Speaking during the meeting, the leaders said the gathering was strategic to mobilize women at the grassroots and to consolidate their political strength ahead of the march.

They noted that the movement of the women leaders into the mainstream political fold is a significant boost for the re-election bid of both the President and the Governor.

According to them, the upcoming 10,000 women march will showcase the numerical strength and influence of women and reaffirm their commitment to the continuity of the present administrations at both Federal and State levels.
