The National Examinations Council (NECO) is set to release the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The results will be officially announced at 11am at the council’s headquarters located along Kilometre 8, Bida Road, Minna, Niger State, according to a circular on the release.
The development follows a meeting of the 2026 SSCE Internal Award Committee held at the NECO headquarters on Tuesday.
The meeting was chaired by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Wushishi, as the examination body completed preparations for the release of the results. NECO also indicated that the committee meeting represented the final stage ahead of the official announcement.
The 2026 SSCE Internal examination was conducted for final-year secondary school students across the country.
The examination commenced on June 15 and ended on July 23, 2026, with candidates sitting for papers in various subjects.
The release of the results will enable candidates, schools and other stakeholders to access the outcome of the examination as students proceed with admission processes and other post-secondary education plans.
Candidates are expected to access their results through the channels provided by NECO after the official release.
NECO’s results portal allows candidates to select their examination year and examination type before entering their token and registration number to check their results.
