The Director General of the Delta State Public and Private Property Protection Agency, (PPPA), Hon. Gibson Akporehe, has held a strategic meeting with commercial tricycle (Keke) riders and owners in the State.
The meeting brought together Keke operators of Northern extraction and some indigenous riders to forge a partnership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to Akporehe, the engagement was aimed at mobilizing support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
He said Keke riders remain a critical grassroots structure and their collaboration would be vital in driving support for both candidates.
