Ekpan Women leader, Mrs Beauty Ikpesa and her executives on Saturday, 11th July, 2026, paid a condolence visit to the family of Industrialist and Philanthropist, founder of AMURUN Foundation, Sir Idama AMURUN in his hometown, Warri , Delta State following the demise of his Sister, Ms Otome Priscilla Amurun. Age 59
Speaking during the visit, Mrs Ikpesa described the deceased as a woman who lived an impactful life marked by humility, service, peace and dedication to her people.
The women leader said the large turnout of mourners reflected the remarkable life the deceased lived and the enduring legacy she left behind.
She said, “we are not here to mourn because when you look at the faces here today, you will understand that Ms Pricillia Amurun lived a fulfilled life.
She further said that the deceased touched so many lives and earned respect and admiration of people across different communities.
Recalling her relationship with the deceased, Mrs Ikpesa said the deceased remained the same humble and peaceful woman throughout her lifetime.
Members of the executives, Mama Favour Agbabule and Madam Congo also described the deceased as a woman who brought people together and never discriminated against anyone.
They assured the family and people of the state that the deceased would be given a befitting burial.
In his response, Sir Amurun described his late Sister as one who led with compassion, unity, and an unwavering commitment to peace and social justice.
The Philanthropist expressed his appreciation to the Ekpan Women Leader and executives as well as people of the community for the visit.
Recall that the deceased who died in South Africa after a brief illness is survived by husband, Children, brothers and sisters among whom is the renowned industrialist and philanthropist, Sir Idama Amurun.
