The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has commenced registration for its 2026 November/December examinations.
The registration exercise, which started on Monday, August 10, 2026, covers the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC), Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC), as well as the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination.
The board disclosed the development in a statement signed by its Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah.
According to NABTEB, the registration follows a management directive issued in an internal memorandum dated August 7 and signed by the Director of Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.
The board has consequently called on prospective candidates, schools, technical and vocational institutions, apprenticeship centres and other relevant stakeholders to begin and complete their registration within the approved period.
NABTEB Announces Registration Fees
NABTEB stated that candidates registering for the various examinations are required to pay approved fees according to the examination category.
The registration fee for the NBC/NTC examinations has been fixed at ₦22,500, while candidates for the ANBC/ANTC examinations will pay ₦25,500.
For the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination, the approved registration fee is ₦6,000.
Registration Deadlines
The board also announced separate closing dates for the examinations.
Registration for the November/December NBC, NTC, ANBC and ANTC examinations will end on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Meanwhile, registration for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination will remain open until Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
NABTEB urged all prospective candidates and other participating stakeholders to complete their registration before the relevant deadlines.
The board advised applicants to ensure that their registration details are properly submitted within the stipulated period to avoid difficulties associated with late registration.
The November/December examination is part of NABTEB’s regular certification programmes for candidates pursuing business, technical and vocational qualifications.
NABTEB has continued to emphasise technical and vocational education as an important pathway for developing practical skills and strengthening Nigeria’s workforce.
